Heath Lodge celebrated another important milestone this week, with the award of CQC registration for the home. CQC or also known as Care Quality Commission registration, is a crucial step for any new care home as it validates that the home is fit for purpose and has everything in place to look after its residents. Registration is a legal requirement, which should give residents and families the peace of mind that everything has been independently checked and approved before the doors open. I think we have an amazing facility, and I cannot wait to greet our first residents next week. As part of the preparation plans this week Heath Lodge also welcomed the local fire services. Welcome to a home where every day is a testament to love and care. My mother who is 94 is now so happy and very jolly. During COVID in March, she has been isolated on her own and her mentality had gone downhill dramatically not interacting nor having any conversations her dementia worsened. Highly recommended, excellent facilities, friendly caring staff. I wish my mother lived here in March rather than recently of 2 months.
