In the Kibbe system, the Natural family is dominated by the Softened Yang. To illustrate Softened Yang more clearly, first take a look at Pure Yang. Pure Yang is sharper, more narrow, sleek, and columnar. Imagine taking the sharp corners of Pure Yang and stretching them out both sideways and upwards. What results is more broadness, width, and angular elongation. Flamboyant Naturals have broadness, width, and elongation to their bone structure without prominent sharpness. These two types are often muddled as they are both on the Yang side of the spectrum with a Yang undercurrent. In terms of accommodation, Dramatic Classics need much more tailoring, tautness, moderation, and sculpted-ness, which is likely to weigh down or constrain the Flamboyant Natural. The Soft Natural tends towards softness in flesh, with a slightly small waist and more curvature through the hips and bust. The Soft Gamine possesses small scale Yang- their frame is more narrow, sharp, and delicate in comparison to the Soft Natural, who possesses more broadness and very little if no sharpness or delicacy. Soft Gamine accommodations require a more form fitting, tapered, nipped, and tucked approach, which is likely to constrain the Soft Natural. Soft Naturals are smaller and more Yin in flesh than Flamboyant Naturals, who look broader, taller, and more solidly defined. Remember, the Natural Family exists on a spectrum.

Bone Structure: slightly straight.

Flamboyant natural is one of the original 13 Kibbe body types. Take the Kibbe test to find out your body type. The Kibbe types have three natural body types, soft natural , natural and flamboyant natural type. Height: Moderate to very tall, usually 5 feet 5 inches and over. Bone structure: Large and angular with blunt edges. Broad and square bones.

Meaning, two Flamboyant Naturals are unlikely to have uniform Yin and Yang parts. One may have it in her lips while the other in her cheeks, or both. One may be curvy in the waist while the other is straight. And yet, they are both Kibbe-verified Flamboyant Naturals. It dictates how clothes will hang on the body. While Body Flesh bust, waist, hips and Facial Features are definitely included in the criteria, they are less important and less influential than Bone Structure shoulders especially, limbs, and vertical line. Therefore, a slight deviation from these descriptions is always possible and should not be worried over as long as the overall outline meets the Yin and Yang balance of a Flamboyant Natural soft Yang with extreme Yang undercurrent.

The Dramatic and Flamboyant Natural Kibbe body types and style identities have quite a lot in common, making choosing between them a little confusing. Luckily, they also have some distinct differences which I hope to highlight. In this post, I directly compare the Dramatic and Flamboyant Natural Kibbe body types and style identities to highlight these similarities and differences, using gorgeous model sisters Gigi Hadid Flamboyant Natural and Bella Hadid Dramatic for my comparison.
