A forested trail leads before emerging onto some of the best views on the Bruce. The Lion's Head Trail has two loops - the main trail and inland trail for a total of about kilometres. The trails are marked with blue and white blazes. To start your hike, park your car at the Bruce Trail Parking Lot on McCurdy Drive Parkette make your parking reservation here and follow the trails outlined on the map provided at the trailhead.

This is a very popular area for birding, hiking, and running, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash. Trail to lookout was nicely packed snow but slippery in places. Would definitely recommend spikes. TIP: Bring a walking stick as parts of these trails can be challenging.
