Masa Inn is a room budget hotel located in downtown Kuta, a five-minute walk from Kuta Beach and 10 minutes from nightlife along Jalan Legian. The family-run property is nestled within a old-school Balinese compound featuring traditional architectural details. Features include two large swimming pools and a small breakfast restaurant, but little else. Rooms are affordably priced and spacious, and come equipped with air-conditioning, hot water, mini-fridges, TVs, and safes. Most rooms also feature balconies and have pool views. Decor and in-room features are dated, though, and include old tube TVs plus tired curtains and bedding. As an alternative, Dewi Sri features fresher rooms plus great facilities. The tradeoff? It's farther from the beach. Masa Inn is a family-run hotel set amid a fairly large Balinese compound with traditional architecture and details found throughout the property. The spacious grounds are lined with tall trees, lawns, tropical greenery, and plenty of common areas.
