I am having the same problem. Looks like the PSX core is missing from this Onion build. The Miyoo Mini v2 with Mini UI is the only retro handheld I own and I have a pretty large collection at this point that can be used without ever knowing what a hotkey is. After tweaking the file paths I was able to get the CPS1, 2 and 3 box arts shown again.
