It comes with a nice big mirror on the inside, which is really important to me. So good job BH Cosmetics on that front. But most importantly, when I opened the palette, I loved every single shade. Swatching is a good indicator of the quality of eyeshadows because it allows you to get a feel for the formula, pigmentation and if the colours look the same on your skin as they do in the pan. I found all of the lighter mattes, as well as some of the other mattes, to be lacking in pigmentation. They looked patchy and very washy. I had to keep putting my finger in the eyeshadows to get even a half-decent swatch. However, with most of the darker mattes, the pigmentation seemed to be better. To make up for this, though, the shimmer shades were incredible.

However, I managed to get it to work after some time and actually ended up with a nice look. The ways that the shimmers apply are excellent and really pigmented but a word of warning for the mattes: they do need to be applied with a denser eyeshadow brush and applied more times according to how pigmented you like it as they lack the initial hit of pigment that the opalescent bh have, opalescent bh.

Overall, I would recommend this palette as I cannot fault the shades that there are due to the extremely wearable colours and mix of mattes and shimmers and for the price the quality is good. They are all mostly well pigmented so a real bargain for money because you can use all the shades.
