The different dinosaurs and critters in Paleo Pines come in a variety of color schemes. The rarity and expression of these color schemes varies based on species, with the notable exception of the Albino and Melanistic colorations being available on all species exclusively at the Ultra Rare level. Certain dinosaurs in the game come with pre-determined and unique colour schemes that can not be obtained by the player. As none of these dinosaurs except Lucky currently register in the journal, there are no official names for any of these character-unique colour schemes. In order to keep the list accessible for easy searching, the table lists only generic colours. While many shades and tints of colour tones can be referred to by more specific names, the distinction between them can vary between regions, organizations, and individuals. To prevent conusion, the table should only use the most basic colour wheel - Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, and Purple - and adds Brown, Cream, Teal, and Pink as additional distinct categories.
