They are level wind which is nice. They are light so your arms dont get tired if your catching fish after fish. For line, I like braid better and there is 60lb braid on each. I' ve got the GTi, the original. I think the GT2 is just a newer version.

They told me that the level wind was just something else to breakdown, so I redone the reels and took off the level wind parts off after they broke one day when we were out fishing and they could not use their reels any more. If you are good at casting, and go with braid, I know guys that throw lb braid with that reel off Sunglow, but in my opinion, that's overkill. Maybe 65 lb or so would work. For Mono, go with anywhere from lb.
