I can receive my main e-mails with out issue, its the additional mail box thats causing problems. I'm stumped, am I missing something obvious? As far as I know, by default, POP3 automatically deletes emails from the server once downloaded so, depending on which device you use to download from, the other devices will not see them. There is usually an option somewhere in the settings to keep the emails on the server. Of course, this can then leave the emails mounting up.

Long term PlusNet user, yesterday my main account returns an error message username passport not correct. I have tried requesting a reset for the password, but the same happens. I am at a loss, I don't know what I have done. If you are not able to login to the email address using webmail , then it is likely that your email address has been identified as being compromised and has had its password changed. Where email address passwords have been changed to protect the integrity of the service, the Plusnet account password is left unchanged. You can change the password on a secondary mailbox using the Manage My Mail options in the user portal. Use the MAAF user portal to update the password on the default email address change the account password and use this MAAF guide to change the password on a secondary mailbox address. If you cannot recall the account password, you will need to contact support The new password should be cryptic and not one used before. Note that changing the account password will change the password used for logging on to the relevant user portal. If your email service is NOT a retained legacy service one associated with a retired internet service account , then the password required by the router to connect to the internet will be changed too. If not, you will need to log into the router, drop the connection, change the password yourself and reconnect. I am trying now for 16 hours - but I am unable to either log in to the webmail or download mail to my phone. When I try to log in, I get the error message " Unknown user or password incorrect. I am currently out of the country, so it is not possible to call the help line - any ideas? Hey there benjamine I just tried to log into my webmail and was able to so it isn't a server issue. Just for testing purposes have you changed the password and tried logging in? I've had problems for the last few days.

My email address is, for historical reasons, a globalnet one but it's delivered or not, currently by Plusnet following their swallowing-up of first globalnet, then madasafish.
