There are seven Black Books. Many can be found through the quest " Lost Knowledge. As with Hermaeus Mora, Apocrypha is always changing and never constant. Its environment is filled with hidden and forbidden knowledge, and dangerous to the unwary. This infinite plane of reality is dominated by an endless, roiling sea of toxic green liquid, where giant oily tentacles slither and writhe about the waves, whipping at anyone who gets too close.

To finally face off against Miraak , read the Black Book: Waking Dreams to return to the area of Apocrypha you first met him in. Travel through the different 'Chapters' of the book and at last you will come upon Miraak's Serpentine Dragon. Use the Bend Will Shout on the Dragon to make it land and ride it. Hang on as the Dragon flies through Apocrypha and gives you a brief tutorial on dragon riding before depositing you at the summit of Apocrypha where Miraak awaits you. He is a dangerous foe, and will utilize Dragon shouts against you while defending himself with the Dragon Aspect Shout. When his health is depleted, he will Become ethereal and summon one of three dragons circling overhead. He will siphon their souls to regain his health , and you must battle him until no more dragons remain for him to absorb. Defeated, Miraak will be punished for his plans for domination by an angry Hermaeus Mora , who regards you as his new champion, and will allow you to spend Dragon Souls to respec one of your talent trees. With that, Miraak has fallen and the island of Solstheim - and more importantly the world - is now safe from his wrath. Congratulations, you are the true Dragonborn!

Walk down the path and up the staircase, where Chapter II will be accessible from a pedestal. Ascend the stairs and defeat the two seekers. If you make enough noise, you can attract the attention of enemies far above you, but it is unlikely that you will be able to attack each other, so if you need to leave combat, just sneak until they stop looking for you. This gives evidence to a theory that mortals that enter Apocrypha seeking knowledge become insane and turn into Seekers. This will open a second path to the right, directly across from where you entered.
