I last visited the soft play centre in Berkhamsted a few years ago when it was under previous ownership. Interestingly though the prices are the same for all three soft play sites in Hertfordshire. They also have a party room area available. As you can see this area has got loads of soft play shapes, a ball pool, a massive mirror and games. I did wonder if this was just missing its sign maybe? It also has a mini balance beam and one of those clear perspex panels that I hate.

Soft play in berkhamsted

Canal Fields is the main park in Berkhamsted. It is an attractive green space, centrally located between the High Street and Berkhamsted railway station, with a picnic area, skate park and a well equipped play area. Parking is available, with access from Broadwater. The park holds the Green Flag Award, the national standard for parks and open spaces in England and Wales. In the 18th century the land now known as Canal Fields was largely wetland associated with the Bulbourne chalk stream. When the Grand Junction Canal now the Grand Union Canal was constructed in , and later the railway in , the land was raised using displaced soil and transformed into open fields. In Lord Brownlow wanted to enclose Berkhamsted Common and was willing to give the town land for the purpose of recreation as compensation.

The first time I wrote a review of Canal Fields in Berkhamsted I had a couple of issues with the playground area. Canal fields is a park hidden between Waitrose and the trail line that has a playground, skate park and lots of green space to explore. The playground was the main reason that we visited Canal Fields.
