Feeling kind of railroaded here I pre-saved and accepted the quest, followed the farmers to the abbey hoping I could make some kind of choice when I got there, but it seems to be forcing me to fight the Brotherhood guards. There are three battles, all mirroring the ones from Tiltren Tomb. Also, remember to loot all urns , bodies , and chests you find. There is a full set of three Codex here, plus other random goodies.
