Ashley is a Fresno-native returning home after spending several years working in the Bay Area. She is driven by a deep passion to maintain an inter-sectional and equity-based approach to public health that is rooted in liberation education, trauma-informed systems, healing-centered care, harm reduction, and justice. Her professional work as a public health worker has been focused on adolescent health and advocating for the well-being of youth. Ashley believes deeply that when young people are supported holistically, they are empowered to contribute to their communities in profound ways as unstoppable agents of change. FBU is a community benefit organization that has been serving the community for over twenty-three years, with an array of programs and services that provide young people with the skills and opportunities they need to thrive in their communities and give back.
