We were watching these videos before a stream on Kast. Stone Ocean starts in , and she was only 19 years old. This is clearly stated in the text of the story. I always liked that theory, because the whole thing with Annasui seemed odd and it never came up again in the story, and I liked having a possible explanation better than none at all. The problem is that doing this encourages readers to seek out flaws where they may not exist, and to ignore any possible explanation for why they may not be flaws at all. I think Araki sort of invites this sort of criticism with the way he introduces new characters. Annasui first appearing as a woman is a perfect example.

JoJo's Bizzare Adventure might be one of the longest-running, weirdest, and most entertaining anime properties of all time, but it sure isn't one of the most coherent examples of the medium. Author Hirohiko Araki is eccentric enough to say the least with quite the unique way of telling stories. The guy is a genius in a lot of ways and it shows by how popular and beloved the JoJo series is worldwide. That being said, he does forget about a lot of things in each of the eight parts, many of which drive his most dedicated fans up the wall. So without further delay, here are 10 things in Jojo's Bizarre Adventure that Araki apparently forgotten about. First and foremost is the ability that Stands had in Part 3, but sort of stopped having from that point onward. This ability is, of course, being able to phase inside of objects and interact with them on the inside. It's used in the penultimate moment of the Jotaro versus Dio fight in Stardust Crusaders, where Jotaro stops his own heart for a few seconds in order to deceive Dio into thinking he's dead. But if all Stands can interact with the insides of people just like that, what makes Part 6's Diver Down - a Stand that can enter its target - special in any way? The answer is he wouldn't be, so Araki quickly retconned that ability from existence. Next are two abilities from Golden Wind that are so strong, vague, and all-encompassing that Araki himself didn't know what to do with them. These are, of course, GioGio's Stand Gold Experience and its ability to "give life" to anything and anyone. In his first episodes, Giorno displays a power with Gold Experience that is never seen again. This power is his Damage Reflect ability that must have been too hard to write around, so Araki just sort of ignored it - much to frog armor-loving fans' dismay.
People are so desperate for some idiotic time travel thing with that, even though it would undermine the main theme of DiU.
Josuke and Giorno both had chance encounters with kind strangers who helped them out at a very low point in their childhood. Who were these men? What happened to them later on? Earth, Wind, and Fire. Giorno Giovanna knows that his father is Dio Brando but never got to meet him and barely knows anything about him. His half-brothers Ungalo, Rikiel, and Versace who appear as villains in part 6 are even more in the dark and have suffered for their entire lives due to absent parents and uncontrollable stands without ever knowing why.
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure , a long-running series spanning many parts and has been in the production since The series creator, Hirohiko Araki , with having so many characters and plots to keep track of, like anyone, tends to forget details from time to time. However, these bouts of forgetfulness can go from being inconsequential to downright contradictory. Some have been so bad that Araki himself had to make public apologies for them. Many fans have discovered such moments, coined lovingly as 'Araki Forgot' moments and it has then become a well-known meme within the JoJo community. Here are 10 such of moments forgetfulness and skewed continuity from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Battle Tendency , the mega franchise's second part. At the beginning of the series, a young boy was always by Joseph's side and appeared to live with him and Erina, but what happened to him throughout the rest of the series?

Jojo's Bizarre Adventure might be the best, worst, and weirdest property of all time. It's so weird, but somehow popular enough to share article headlines with Fortnite. Never before has a series included a paralyzed man who can shoot his fingernails, a vampire who forgets about his eye lasers, and a plaid-patterned stand that just works, okay? Basically, this anime and manga are nonsense, just the amazing kind. Author Hirohiko Araki has somehow managed to craft an incredibly complex world. And sometimes, he just, ya know There's a ton of memes online that go over all the things Araki has forgotten about over the years in his eight-part series, so let's cover some of the best.

Yeah and I admire writers like that tbh. Then, in Part 3, this power scale was completely replaced with the "Stand" system. Araki himself operates on Jojo logic. The problem is that doing this encourages readers to seek out flaws where they may not exist, and to ignore any possible explanation for why they may not be flaws at all. Author: Mary Lee Sauder. Also just wondering if its ok if other people can write jojo with Araki's blessing spinoffs that retcons thing just to fix the plotholes of the series? Polnareff used this ability in his first fighting against Avdol. How can you say the Dio flashbacks in Part 6 are out-of-character with the Dio in Part 3, when the same guy wrote both parts? He had partnered with Jotaro to search for and gather the remaining stand arrows during the '90s. That's right, they fly over Cairo. GTomahawk 6 years ago Araki totally forgot though.

Deadinsideman Topic Creator 6 years ago Josuke had come down with a strong fever, and when his mother tried to drive him to the hospital, their car got stuck in a blizzard. That would be fine if half of these items would require him to have a long-range Stand - which Star Platinum is not. The answer is he wouldn't be, so Araki quickly retconned that ability from existence. All logic dictates that Araki should be a bad writer, and yet somehow, he's not. For example, a common rule states that close-range Stands can't move more than a couple of meters away from their user. They were saved when a young man in a school uniform pushed their car over the snow and freed them. Specifically, Giorno Giovanna. This is simply because Stands were new in this part and as such, Araki made a lot of basic mistakes in the way Stands would fundamentally work. Forgotten Stand Specifics.
